Synopsis
Riker wakes sixteen years in the future as captain with a son, then spots flaws and a false Romulan plot to extract Outpost twenty three's location. That too proves illusory: a lonely alien boy, Barash, made it all, wanting someone real to stay. Riker offers to take him along.
Continuity
- Follows 11001001 (S01E15): Minuet, the Bynars' holodeck woman, reappears as Riker's 'wife', exposing the false future.
