Synopsis
Moriarty, freed from protected holodeck memory, seizes control of the Enterprise and demands to leave the holodeck with the Countess. Data, Picard and Barclay realise they are inside his simulation, then trap Moriarty and the Countess in a simulation of their own, restoring the ship.
Continuity
- Follows Elementary, Dear Data (S02E03): Moriarty, left stored in the computer at the end of Elementary, Dear Data, is reactivated and says Picard has not kept his promise to free him.
