Synopsis
Picard and Riker, undercover on Baran's mercenary ship, kill Baran and take command. Tallera, who claimed to be Vulcan Security, assembles the Stone of Gol resonator at the T'Kareth sanctuary; Picard defeats it by having everyone empty their minds of violence, and Satok takes her into custody.
Continuity
- Follows Gambit, part 1 (S07E04): Resolves the cliffhanger: the artefacts Baran's mercenaries loot are Vulcan pieces of the Stone of Gol, a psionic weapon.
